BIO

I’m fascinated with how the process of digitizing form alters the subject.  When I use 3D scanning, 3D printing and CNC milling as tools to create artwork, physical objects translate into data points, and then back into objects; information is lost, added, extrapolated and deformed. This loss and augmentation is not unlike entropy degrading objects or altering memory over time.

I grew up in Ashland, Oregon, apprenticed under a classically trained sculptor and went to the Rhode Island School of Design where I received my BFA in Film/Animation and Video.
