Ori Paul Levi



BIO

A visual artist and creative director based in Los-Angeles, CA.

Raised in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Ori found interest in art in the form of photography at a young age. taking up his parents point and shoot film camera to document anything from flowers to action figures. Growing up in a queer and liberal city, shaped Ori’s mind, and carried it away from his conservative upbrining and it wasn’t long before he began to document and create visual pieces that dealt with sexuality, sexual identity and self expression.

After being discharged from the I.D.F,. He Left Tel-Aviv behind and began attending the I.E.D school of art and design in Milan, Italy.

Ori started his professional career in London, U.K. working at renowned fashion publications Wonderland and later I-D Magazine, creating editorial, advertorial & video and written content in both print and digital formats.

In 2013 Ori co-launched QWHO Magazine - A menswear, Culture and Music Publication based out of East London, U.K. Acting as the publications Editor in-Chief & Fashion Director, he crafted unique collaborations with brands and designers such as Moschino, Comme Des Garcons, Acne, Henrik Vibskov & Martine Rose and many others. Producing unique advertorial and video content.

In 2015, Ori relocated to Los-Angeles, CA, where he established himself as an important player in the local alternative Art & Music scenes whilst continuing to contribute editorial content to publications.

he continues to create art that is transformative, charged, and expressive. exploring queerness, sexuality and underground culture. in the form of; video work, collage art, photography & illustrations that are published and displayed around the world.
